Actually, we have no mountains. But we also have no glaciers. But since we have traveled so much, we will not miss the glaciers. Glaciers are nothing but snow. Yes, they are beautiful, but I can assure everyone that the view from Radostice, for example, is definitely more colorful and interesting. Furthermore, if you hit it in the fall, Beskidy is really better than anywhere else between the glaciers.
That\’s why you need to walk in the forest and, unfortunately, follow the hiking signs here. Can\’t we just take a short walk? Yes, you can. The Pustevni Mountains are well signposted. You can choose long and difficult routes or short and easy ones. For example, we recommend taking the path through the trees from Pusteven to Tanečnice and then down to the crossroads. From there, turn right and you will be back in Pusteveni in 15 minutes. This course is probably the shortest and can be done by anyone. However, one must be careful with small children. Unless you fold them up and carry them on your hands or back. There is a short section of about 5 minutes between the roots and the rocks, but it is probably impossible with a stroller. If you don\’t intend to fold and carry a buggy, try the reverse route. Take the very comfortable road and instead of turning left into Tanečnice, go straight. You will not go to Tanechnice, but you can comfortably go to Razutka. It is a bit far, but it is comfortable and there is a rest area to rest.
And if you are looking for lodging somewhere in the area, trust me. There are plenty of hotels and guest houses. There are even campgrounds. It\’s up to you what kind of accommodations you prefer and what kind of accommodations you choose. And maybe you want to stay in a secluded place, or maybe you prefer to stay off the beaten path. But I guess it doesn\’t matter, because they are all nice places.
